About the function
What will you do as a warehouse employee?
In the role of warehouse employee, you will be part of the Warehouse department. As Warehouse employee - order picker, you are responsible for correctly collecting customer orders. You will also participate in other warehouse tasks, such as inbound, stock counting, cleaning, etc. You work according to established procedures and instructions to meet (food) safety, security and productivity standards.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the following tasks;
- Correctly and completely collecting and preparing customer orders for dispatch. This involves using an EPT and a scanner
- Unloading and loading of transports
- Correct (administrative) handling of warehouse activities
- Taking stock counts
- Ensuring order and tidiness of the warehouse
What we need
What do you bring as a candidate?
- You have experience in a similar logistics role and are looking for challenge
- VMBO/MAVO working and thinking level
- You work accurately and carefully
- A motivated personality who is a real go-getter
- Understanding that the logistics process sometimes needs to be completed outside normal working hours
- Flexible and a team player
- Knowledge of logistics tools, such as scanners and EPTs
- VGB is a requirement - but will be applied for/paid by us.
- You should speak fluent English because the work environment is in English (knowing Dutch is a plus)

MLCo Europe specialises in supplying goods to international airports used on board aircraft. Our services include the storage and distribution of in-flight and catering products, such as food, beverages, cabin service supplies and much more.
MLCo Europe is part of the US-based Michael Lewis Company. MLCo was founded in 1928 and is based in Chicago. It is an independent family-owned company.
Since 1994, MLCo has operated in Europe where operations were outsourced to logistics service providers. In 2018, Michael Lewis Company Europe B.V. was established to carry out its European operations in-house and started construction of the distribution centre in Dinteloord. In 2020, the premises were occupied and we started carrying out our operations.
