About the function
As a sheet metal worker, you will perform various sheet metal tasks both in new aircraft production and in repair work. Your responsibilities in this position include:
- Inspecting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft
- Documenting deviations and managing tools/machines
- Proposing methods to improve efficiency and safety
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft
- Training and mentoring junior sheet metal workers when necessary
What we need
- At least 1 year of experience in the civil and/or military aircraft maintenance sector
- High manual dexterity and attention to technical details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Able to read and understand technical English
- EU citizenship or a valid Dutch work permit
What we offer
- Starting monthly salary of €3937, including 5% ATV (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Long-term contract with Fokker Techniek (12 months), followed by a permanent job contract
- Opportunity to develop your skills with welding training in the first few months
