About the function
As an MRO Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining aircraft components, mostly landing gear related. Your tasks include:
- Disassembling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, and modifying components.
- Performing interim and final inspections.
- Supervising customer product acceptance.
- Preparing and processing deviation reports within set frameworks.
- Accurately recording data in logbooks and quality reports.
- Actively contributing to process improvements
What we need
You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for quality. Additionally, you have:
- Experience with inspection, maintaining, assembly and/or production of landing gears or similar aircraft components.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a precise working style and proficiency in technical English.
- Basic knowledge of Office programs.
- EU citizenship or a work permit in the Netherlands

GKN Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker Aerospace, is a recognized specialist in landing gear and related systems. They focus on the design and development, production and assembly of complete landing gears, as well as the repair and reassembly of systems already in use.
