About the function
As an Installation Employee at Meilof Riks, you will be responsible for installing aluminum roof and facade products on various construction projects. You will work together with a team of colleagues and ensure that prefabricated building components are installed in a safe and quality manner. This involves working at various locations throughout the country depending on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of prefabricated aluminum products such as self-supporting gutters, rainwater drains, wind springs, window frames, roof overhangs and awnings.
- Working at heights: you will often perform work at heights, so you must be comfortable working on scaffolding and ladders.
- Working together as a team to complete construction projects efficiently and safely.
- Use technical judgment to correctly and accurately place construction components according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Comply with safety regulations: you ensure that you always work according to applicable safety standards, such as wearing protective equipment.
- Work according to schedule: you ensure that installations are completed on time and within the specified deadlines.
- Quality control: after installation, you check the products and make sure everything is working properly.
- Communication with customers and project managers: you keep the customer and project management informed about the progress of the installation.
As an installation employee at Meilof Riks you will work five days a week in a day shift.
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: from 08:00 to 17:00.
Sometimes overtime may be required, depending on the project. This will be paid extra at a rate of 128.44%. Depending on the location of the project, you may also be asked to work some nights away from home.
What we need
- Education and Experience:
- VCA certificate (required).
- Experience in assembly work (desired).
- Technical Skills: Technical understanding and skill in using tools.
- Physical aptitude: Physically strong and not afraid of heights.
- Language Skills: Good command of Dutch or English.
- Personal Characteristics: Team player, flexible, reliable, and responsible.
- Availability: Available for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.
