About the function
As a production worker, you will ensure that the tomatoes sent to customers are of the highest quality. You will be involved in different processes such as:
Sorting tomatoes:
- Ensure tomatoes meet quality standards by carefully sorting them.
- Remove damaged or defective tomatoes from the production line.
Weighing and packing:
- Weigh tomatoes accurately and pack them in designated containers.
- Follow packaging guidelines to maintain product integrity and presentation
Put boxes on pallets:
- Organise packed tomatoes on pallets according to specified arrangements.
- Ensure pallets are properly stacked and secured for transportation.
Preparing tomatoes for shipment:
- Prepare tomatoes for transportation according to shipping guidelines.
- Label boxes accurately and ensure they are ready for dispatch.
Your working hours: Monday to Saturday from 06:00 to 17:00 (36-40 hours per week)
