About the function
As a Crate Washing Employee, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the crates used in the production process. You’ll operate advanced washing machines and ensure strict adherence to hygiene and quality standards. Additionally, you’ll perform quality checks on the cleaned crates and identify any defects. This role requires working in a cold, wet environment, and being physically active.
Your responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain crates using washing machines.
- Inspect cleaned crates to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Identify and report defective or worn crates.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and equipment.
- Follow all safety and hygiene regulations.
Working Hours & Days - Monday to Saturday (6-day work week).
3-shift system:
- Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:00/15:00
- Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:00/23:00
- Night shift: 21:00 - 05:00/06:00
Overtime available with up to a 135% pay increase.
Surcharge of 125% between 19:00 and 23:00, and 140% between 23:00 and 06:00.
What we need
- Strong command of the Dutch or English language.
- Physically fit and prepared to work in a cold and wet environment (around 10°C).
- Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts and on Saturdays.
- Possession of personal transportation or a driving license (due to fluctuating work schedules).

- Gross hourly wage of €14.09 per hour.
- Shift bonuses: 125% (19:00 - 23:00), 140% (23:00 - 06:00).
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (for distances over 10 km).
