At Rijk Zwaan in De Lier we are looking for a Technical Assistant for our phytopathology department. A versatile position in which you are responsible for the maintenance and climate control of our research areas. Good work!
About the function
As a Technical Assistant, you play a crucial role in supporting our research department. You will ensure optimal operation of technical installations and climate controls. Your duties include:
- Maintenance and repair of technical facilities, electrical equipment and climate cells.
- Ensuring proper water supply and drainage within the building.
- Organize calibration and recording of technical equipment and climate settings.
- Supervise outside mechanics and installers.
- Record work in database for accurate reporting.
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30.
- Friday: 07:00 - 13:30.
What we need
- A completed secondary technical education or similar experience.
- Experience with computers and maintenance software.
- Good communication skills and independence.
- Affinity with climate control and measurement and control techniques.
- Creative and solution-oriented thinking.
- You have your own transportation.
- You speak both Dutch and English.

- Salary starting at €18.33 per hour with annual increase according to collective bargaining agreement.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km from 1 km.
