At Nedcargo in Waddinxveen you are responsible for moving pallets of alcoholic beverages in the inbound and outbound process. About the function
As a Reachtruck driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets, moving goods around the warehouse and supporting logistics processes. You will drive 8 hours a day on the reach truck and ensure that all products are stored safely and correctly. You will also keep your workplace tidy and work according to strict safety regulations. During peak periods, you may assist with order picking with an EPT, which can be physically demanding work.
Your responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading and moving pallets of alcoholic beverages
- Drive the reach truck safely and efficiently in the inbound and outbound process
- Assist with order picking during busy periods (as needed)
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work according to warehouse procedures and safety regulations
Working Hours & Work Days:
Work Days: Monday through Friday
Two Shifts:
- Morning shift: 05:00 - 14:00
- Afternoon shift: 14:15 - 23:15
Full-time: 38 - 40 hours per week
What we need
- Minimum of 1.5 years experience as a reach truck driver
- Valid Dutch reach truck certificate (mandatory)
- Experience working in inbound and outbound logistics
- Good command of the English or Dutch language
- Physically strong and able to work an entire shift on the reach truck
- Own transport and accommodation required
- Willing to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct)
What we offer
- Gross hourly wage of €16.87 per hour (incl. 1.38% atv allowance and 8.75% shift allowance)
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (from 10 km, max. 50 km per day)
- Possibility for permanent employment with good performance
