Do you like working with plants and are you looking for a varied job? At Rijk Zwaan in Monster you work in the greenhouses and help pollinate and harvest vegetable seeds. A nice work environment where you become part of an international team! Good work!
About the function
As a pollinator (pollinator), you make sure that plants are pollinated correctly to produce good vegetable seeds. You remove flower parts, pollinate with a special tablet and check the quality of the seeds. You also perform light greenhouse work.
Your duties:
- Pollinating plants such as tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers
- Removing flower parts
- Harvesting and checking vegetable seeds
- Working according to hygiene and food safety rules
- General light greenhouse work
Working hours:
- 36 - 38 hours per week
- Between 06:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m (depending on the season)
- Sometimes work on weekends or holidays, when it is busy
What we need
- Experience in a greenhouse or with plants is welcome, but not a requirement.
- You speak Polish and English or Dutch.
- You have your own transportation and a place to live in the Monster area
- You work quickly and precisely
What we offer
- €15.72 gross per hour
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (from 1 km)
- 8.33% vacation pay per year
- Work clothes and shoes are provided
