About the function
In this versatile role, you will monitor the logistics chain of our customers within Logicall's services. You will report directly to the Warehouse Director, ensuring short lines of communication and quick decisions. Besides the daily monitoring of the operation, the focus is on the supervision of accounts and the management and development of your team.
Your duties include:
- Continuously monitoring and optimizing the cost pattern and logistical processes within the warehouse;
- Intensive cooperation with Sales to ensure customer satisfaction - including direct customer contact, often in English;
- Responsibility for compliance with quality standards, delivery conditions and Customs processes;
- Managing and improving quality systems within the operation;
- Leading implementation and optimization projects, both within existing operations and at new facilities;
- Coaching, motivating and developing your employees.
Working days are from 07:30 to 16:30 in a seven day schedule.
What we need
- Completed MBO+/HBO education in the direction of Logistics or Business Administration;
- Minimum 5-10 years of work experience in a managerial position within the logistics services;
- A real People Manager with an eye for processes and people;
- Decisive, driven and positive attitude;
- Strong analytical and commercial insight;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages - knowledge of the German language is an advantage;
- You are flexible to work both on weekdays and weekends
